According to this article, The server host Admin must provide a dump file, they have, and I know Infinity Free is world’s n1 free hosting company. Please help

Hey, can no one help me :frowning: PLEASE! HELP ADMIN

Ok, I got my answer, No one can help me.

I’m sorry, but we don’t make backups of free hosting sites, so I have nothing I can use to restore your account.

I can see why the StackOverflow post you found makes you ask here, but it’s important to note that the person asking that question corrupted the files, and wanted to plug a new WordPress installation into an existing database. But if you delete the database, then that’s not an option.

Oh Right, So if I have a backup of my wordpress db, THEN?
I have the backup of 3rd March.
Please help me restore it, because when i tried my side, it said ERROR.

In which file format you have downloaded the backup ?

.sql
Some thing like that
3rd March

It’s a mysql backup file type
If you have published posts+ pages after 3rd march then they will all be deleted.
If restore this

Oh! So my all 18 articles i wrote in april are lost now?
Is there no other way to recover them?

No
If database connection exist then you can take the back up
You have to lost them

Restoring a backup will effectively roll your website back to the moment the backup was created. So if you have a backup from the 3rd of March, then your website would be rolled back to what it was at that time.

To restore the backup, you’ll need to:

  1. Create a new MySQL database with the same name as the deleted one.
  2. Go to phpMyAdmin for the new database.
  3. Click the Import tab at the top of the screen.
  4. Upload the .sql file you downloaded before.

Thanks! I did it. Need one more help.

To prevent such kinds of accident in future, I want a automatic source (Like a Plugin) to take automatic backups of files and database both. How can I do it?
I am using WordPress CMS

EDIT: I already tried UpDraftPlus and JetPack, but they are not backing up the website files literary.

The most reliable way is to create backups from your own computer with FTP and phpMyAdmin.

You can have a backup which backs up the files of your website, but where does it store those? Will it just store them on the hosting account? If so, how does storing the backups help to protect against data loss?
