Just the simple of it - I wasn’t aware that I was using too much space or something else that triggered that system security alert. All apologies, but what am I supposed to do now? Suggestions? Thanks for any help proffered.
Thanks for your response - have found everything turned back on and all files uploaded their in my space - a false positive scan somewhere I assume as I’m missing no files. In the process of getting the ticket closed since the issue is cleared. Thanks for the response, @Jri-Creator - appreciations.
Appreciate the reply @EdwardHamHam - what happened (for anyone who is/was following) was that, as far as I can tell, it was the PayPal button and .png image accompanying it. That ‘client area’ image was added just to illustrate what I was getting as a message. Am waiting on reinstatement again as I switched codebases as some of the intra-code blocks weren’t playing well or being blocked - I don’t know. Have replied to my 1st ticket and am just playing the waiting game. Switched to a non-db-driven codebase as I was having problems with the previous project that got me tagged out by the AI security.
NO…WAY there could be that many hits on an unadvertised site that just saw me REDUCE codebase bloat and unrelated file inventory. Not planning on picking up any premium services, If I can’t even get a simple script to just sit in a webspace without being robbed of resourcing. The only traffic to the site was myself over FTP subtracting as much as possible. Not amused…
Yeh, there have been a lot of attacks on sites recently causing this. Hopefully in 24 hours when the suspension is lifted everything will go back to normal
The two suspensions are not related. One was because the filters thought you were doing something wrong. From what you’ve said above, looks like a false positive and was reactivated.
The second is for reaching the hits limit, meaning you had too many hits on your website. it says it in the screenshot. if you go to the control pannel, you’ll be able to see a graph that shows your hits, and roughly how high it went.
To be clear, I’m not affiliated with Infinity Free in any way other than being a user. But recently (the last couple of weeks) there seems to have been a lot of people post on here looking for help, and then their site gets targeted and get hits suspensions. Pottentially someone accessing the forum mallicously to get links. The same happened to me yesturday, and I’ve only just got my site back.
I appreaciate why it may feel like you’re being targeted by IFastNet (who provide the underlying hosting infastructure) But that just simply isn’t the case. Hopefully after the 24 hours has passed everything will go back to normal.
I’m not on any mission. I’m trying to help you, based on my experience and the expereince of numerous others on this forum at the moment.
Honestly if you really want to belive that someone at IFastNet has taken a dislikeing to you, or that they are lieing about the suspension reason, then I can’t change that.
But if that really was the case, don’t you think they’d have just given you a permenant suspension, and refused to reactivate your account? End of the day, they don’t need to give us the reason why they suspend accounts.
Again, I’m really sorry to hear that you’re account, like many others, has had a suspension for too many hits, and I hope it gets sorted for you.
Not trying to be rude, @dan3008, but I am allowed to have my own opinion in the matter. Already stressed enough today, and I’d like to leave it at that.
