Hello,
Can I connect my domain name to your host with an a record instead of dns name?
Yes and no. You can look up the IP address of your account and point your domain name to it. But to link the domain name to your account, you must point it to the InfinityFree nameservers first.
After pointing the domain name to your name servers. Can I delete your name servers from the registrar and add an A record with ip address of your hosting so that I can control the dns zone from the registrar instead of your limited hosting panel?

Yes, that should be no problem.

Don’t include the trailing dot at the end.
