A list of Free CMSs that have a clean and trendy dashboard

Here is a list of Free CMSs (content management systems) that have a clean and trendy dashboard (and of course work with infinity free)

  • WordPress (demo: WordPress Demo Site » Try WordPress without installing it). There is no need for explanation here.

  • Grav (No demo unfortunately but you can go to google and look at pictures). This is mainly designed for tech savy people as in order to create a page/post, you will need to code the page. You will need to install it manually from their website: getgrav.com.

  • Craft CMS (demo: https://demo.craftcms.com/). Similar to WordPress, it is simple and easy to use. However, it can be resource hungry. You will need to install it manually from their website: Installation | Craft CMS Documentation | 3.x

  • Subrion (demo: https://demos.subrion.org/) It has a clean user interface that is easy to manage and create posts. You can install it from softaculous.

  • Expression engine (you can find the demo in softaculous) It has a very trendy dashboard theme that is powerful yet not too overwhelming. You can install it from softaculous.

  • PHP Fusion (you can find the demo in softaculous) Pretty much the same as the others. You can install it from Softaculous.

  • Publii (no demo unfortunately) You can do to their website https://getpublii.com and install the app on your computer. Then you can connect it with infinity free using ftp or manually uploading and extracting the zip file. It is user intuitive and provides static sites (FAST AND SPEEDD) with easy to use drag and drop block editors. They even have a WordPress importer.

If you have any other suggestions then just leave a comment below.

Hi @robertz,
I feel that Site Pad CMS should also be in the above list!

Yeah, but Sitepad isn’t available in vPanel and I can’t seem to find a manual installation.

SitePad isn’t so much a CMS as it is a website builder, and it also isn’t free. It’s a website builder which hosting providers have to pay for.

I actually just realized that there is this amazing static site CMS that I REALLY LOVE called Publii. You can just download their app (100MBish) and create your website. It has drag and drop block editors. Then you can connect it with infinity free using ftp, manual installation (requires uploading a zip file), or use GitHub Pages. What is good about static site CMSes is that they are REALLY FAST. Plus it has a WordPress importer.
