A Full Guide To Cloudflare

follow the guide

i checked another guide say:

  1. set NS to InfinityFree firstly to add domain
  2. and then set NS to CloudFlare to setup CloudFlare

is it right?

Yes. You need to set the nameservers to IF in order to connect your domain. Once your domain is connected, you can change the nameservers to the ones provided by Cloudflare.

Wait, but i need to add in my control panel the domain or I don’t have to do anything

If you have not added it to cpanel yet, then consider changing your nameservers (temporary) to ns1.infinityfree.com and ns2.infinityfree.com, then add your domain.
Then change nameservers back.

Then it must be added to the control panel

Cloudflare is separate from Cpanel so it won’t be if you didn’t add it manually.

Ok, I followed every step, so why is technologistsdigest.co.uk directing to the suspended domain page?

All this and the domain won’t direct correctly?? I’m confused and a tad frustrated, was really hoping this method would work.

Note: The domain was previously on epizy nameservers when I initially added it to the site and is assigned as an addon domain.

Please send help, thanks in advance!

Please make sure your nameservers are set to only Cloudflares. My test shows you are using mixed nameservers, but only Cloudflare’s should be used.

Congrats @TheWeb
What did you do differently?

I’ve just started using Cloudflare as well, but still get error messages on Chrome.
Also, the root domain keeps directing to Infinityfree’s homepage, rather than the IP address I’m inputting

Can anyone help?

Would appreciate any feedback I can get.

The IP is not correct. Make sure you are using the IP from the client area.

This IP points to where my site was built (on Ecwid).

I believe A record is the way to point to it?

Many apologies if it’s obvious, I really need help.

Either you use the IP Ecwid provided you and you do not use InfinityFree, or you add the IP in the Client Area as well as the Epizy nameservers (ns1.epizy.com, ns2.epizy.com) and host here at InfinityFree. There really is no in-between.

I initially hosted at Infinityfree, but Ecwid requires A record and I couldn’t get it there. Only signed up for Cloudflare today and changed nameservers as instructed.
The domain now says there are too many redirects.

Are you recommemding I move everything to Cloudflare only, since I’m using Ecwid?
