Other Information

Somebody emailed me saying they received this message because my site was included in a document sent over email. He said it’s either that I’ve been sending too many emails through my site (impossible since I’m using the free version without emails) or that my site was hacked. But I’m wondering, might it be because I temporarily deactivated Cloudflare for my other issue? Or might the other issue actually be indicative of this more serious problem?

Finally, although the message is different, does the same explanation as this post apply?

All our IP addresses are currently listed in the Spamhaus spam database because some phishing sites slipped past our abuse detection system. We are already working to get this resolved with Spamhaus and we’re sorry for the inconvenience.

The other person’s message was about the IP being flagged though, while here it is about the site URL being flagged. Again, this is weird since I don’t even have any email service with this site so I don’t know exactly what might be going on.

As for why your domain is blacklisted, your guess is as good as mine. I’m not an expert on email. Email is hard, that’s why we don’t offer it.

The text on the site suggests that your domain was found in spam messages. Whether that’s true, or where it could have come from, or what you can do about it, again, your guess is as good as mine.
