421 Home directory not available - aborting

My hosting account is showing “Unable to determine directory status” and FTP gives “421 Home directory not available - aborting.” The /htdocs folder seems to be missing. What do I do? my website went offline when I needed it most

I am having a similar issue. On FileZilla, I get this error: Response: 421 Home directory not available - aborting
Error: Could not connect to server

I could really do with getting on to upload some new files. The site is working as normal which is odd!

My site is fully offline, apparently its not detecting the entire htdocs folder, which is what it says when I click manage account, I also tried FileZilla but still same issue

please fill out the supplied template when asking for hosting support

this information is required so that support knows where to check, without this information how can staff check which /htdocs out of the millions is having an issue ?

without the basic information support is impossible

I just replied to a topic with similar error.

Whether the issue is solved for you too, I don’t know, because while you’re all very eager to jump in and tell you’re also experiencing the error, none of you have given any information needed to verify the issue actually exists.
