404 page not found

i have recently created a web site http://justkidding.gq and i have been using it for several days, it was working fine.
but today when i went to access the site it opened like when a page is open with low internet speed.
then i went to infinityfree logged in there then i went to control panel which redirected me to the cpanel page(where we get lots of option) there i used to go to Softaculous Apps Installer and then to the wordpress i had installed which took me to the dashboard area of the wordpres where i can add post or do whatever.

BUT
now everything is good up to Softaculous part, but now when i click on to the admin icon of my web site it takes me to the site instead of the dashboard area where i can see the some options simillar to the dashboard but when i click on them it sasy “Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Perhaps try a search?”

please help me out i can’t find any solution to this on my own.

Please do not double-post about the same thing.
Your website seems broken from here, can you try to re-install and try again?

sorry for posting it twice it was a mistake.
And i installed wordpress again but then i get 2 of them, one with the problem and other with nothing, i have to start from scratch, the problem is i will not get the post back which i posted on the earlier one and i don’t have any backup

Can’t you just copy the word from the article and then, in new WordPress, paste it on an new aricle?
I know this is really frustrating for you, but the problem is probably WordPress’s, not InfinityFree’s.
Btw, did you have any softaculous backup maybe that you are able to restore?

Your site seems broken as well, and from what I could get, there are some files missing from your directory.

(hint: use Ctrl + Shift + i [Google Chrome default] to Inspect your site)

Here are several information I could get:

  • Your admin login page can be accessed by calling http://justkidding.gq/jk02/. Are you by any chance using WPS Hide Login plugin or other plugin with the same function?

  • Your wp-contents is also inside jk02 path while your main page (index.php) is on main directory (htdocs/). I think it’s unacceptable for Wordpress since they wouldn’t recognize customized path, unless specified during installation

  • I didn’t see your wp-includes folder. That’s possibly the reason why your site broken.

Well sadly InfinityFree doesn’t support automated backup function, so we have to manually backup the database (post) through phpMyAdmin. From there, you can safely delete your first WP Installation – I recommend to delete both of them – then start again with the new one (this time install them on htdocs/)

Here’s comparison between yours and mine, in case of your confusion.

I’ve deleted the duplicate topic. Next time, if you’re not sure which category you should use, just pick one which you think is best. If it’s not right, moderators can move it. Just don’t post the exact same message in multiple topics.

Did you try to move your website from http://justkidding.gq/jk02/ to http://justkidding.gq/ ? It looks like you moved the files but didn’t update all WordPress settings. Moving a WordPress site requires some other settings as well. The entire procedure is documented on the WordPress website: Moving WordPress « WordPress Codex

Fixing the website now may be a bit complicated. If it’s a new website, it might be easier to just delete this website and reinstall the software (and this time make sure the settings are right BEFORE installing it).

is there any way i could get it back.

Try to move your jk02 folder to your htdocs one, that should fix that (I believe so, don’t take it as the perfect solution).

@nikhilkumar said he uses Softaculous, and Softaculous offers full automated backup.
You have just to configure it manually from Softaculous Dashboard.

Yes you can configure it on the MySQL database.
You should instead re-install WP again, since this is the easy way.

Isn’t Softaculous only provide backup of file, but not the post (since it was stored inside database)?

OK thank you guys, but i think i will start again with proper settings.

Softaculous backups up the entire website, including the database. The database dump should be included in the backup file.
