403 Forbidden

Website URL

whistleblowing.apiiwdev.my.id

Error Message

403 Forbidden

Other Information

Previously, I used the free tier service, but because the SSL period was very short, I decided to use Cloudflare and then DNS to Infinityfree. I set the A and CNAME from Cloudflare to my hosting IP, so the flow was domain → Cloudflare → Infinityfree. After using Cloudflare for two days, suddenly when I accessed one of the subdomains, it displayed a 403 Forbidden error.

No issue

On my browser, and on the internet connection at home, everyone is experiencing the same thing.

Since you said that “everyone using your home network is experiencing issue” then this most probably have something to do with your ISP. Maybe you should try contacting them first.

It’s also possible that free hosting blocked your IP address, in this case you have to wait for Admin.

In addition, the subdomain cam.apiiwdev.my.id shows the same thing.

If the admin blocks my IP, is it illegal to use Cloudflare as a bridge for SSL and additional security? Previously, I thought that Cloudflare’s IP was blocked.

  1. Cloudflare is OK to use. Because if Cloudflare is blocked I will not be able to see your website as well.
  2. Admin didn’t block you. Admin is a reseller, any blocking is done by the server administrators or by automation.
  3. The servers retrieves real IP automatically. So any blockage is placed on real addresses instead of Cloudflare.
  4. Finally cam.apiiwdev.my.id works properly for me.
