Regular windows? The EU release used to be (I don’t know if it still is) the most installed release. Lol
Besides, the American release isn’t that different, other than having a bit more microslop spyware and bloat on it

Took me a while to realize that people are just like “yeah I’m definitely in the EU”
But whatever as I daily drive macOS now and my Surface is on Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2021

Apart from a much longer support period it may not be that good compared to what you may have imagined.
- It does not come with any UWP apps preinstalled, which could be a good thing or a bad thing, but to me it’s a bad thing because UWP apps are a major part of the Windows 10 experience and I want them.
- It’s kernel version is 21H2(19044) not 22H2(19045), some stubborn apps (notably Apple apps) will straight out refuse to install on this version even if they are the same kernel (it’s possible to trick Windows into thinking it’s running 22H2 but that’s a bad idea).
- It does not really have less telemetry. There’s the same amount of telemetry in IoT LTSC as in Enterprise GAC.
- Some Windows features are just missing on this version. They’ll report as “being disabled” but you cannot reenable them.
- Compared with earlier LTSCs, 2021 preinstalls Microsoft Edge.
You could! You just need a Nvidia 30xx card (or earlier of course) which still has Windows 7 drivers. Everything else, like modern CPU, NVMe, UEFI Class 3, USB 3, etc, have all been figured out by the enormous homebrew community.
Laptop is not impossible but it’s definitely harder because of them requiring more drivers, but still, you could! Video is using 8th gen Intel but it could work on newer systems as well.

Probably just stubbornness lol. I liked windows 10 and one day my computer just decided to upgrade to 11 without asking me or anything, just one morning I logged on and was on 11

Yes technically I could but some of the software I need for work and freelancing doesn’t support windows 7 any more.
My computer that controls my laser engraver and 3d printers still runs 7. But it’s hardware is 15 years old, excluding the hard dish which I upgraded a free year’s ago

The last Nvidia drivers that supported Windows 7 is for 30xx, but the video maker happened to only have a 4070 and a 1080Ti so they had to use a 1080Ti, but yeah definitely count
Never lose hope, if you really want to use Windows 7 and don’t mind spending time playing with it:
This project comes out 2 years ago and is much more mature now

It’s cheaper to toss a bunch of records on Cloudflare then to run my own dns server 
But your right, 99% of people don’t need that many, which is probably why they made it a pro feature.
If I had a computer that still ran those old versions of windows I would definitely try it out, unfortunately I oldest one I have is windows 10
(Excluding my windows CE one, but that screen is tiny)

Well Windows CE uses a CE kernel which is different than regular Windows. You probably won’t be able to do anything on it
