Hello everyone, I am trying to flash a custom ROM on my Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, but my PC fails to recognize the device properly in fastboot mode (it shows up with question marks or disconnects to a blank screen when executing commands). Does anyone know how to fix this driver and connection issue?"
Today I learnt that upgrading OpenWrt/ImmortalWrt is a total pain and it’s better to keep it running as is if you have no use for the new features

It’s not untethered and would require a Mac/Linux machine to boot every time, drivers are also pretty much non-existent
I would not recommend you to get an iPhone 7 just for this, but if you happen to have a spare device then I would love to hear your experiences

I don’t have a single iPhone in my house at all. We’re all on Android. I just want to wind up my brother who’s a real iPhone fan, and hates that I use linux because “it’s just for pretentious nerds” lol

You can run Android on iPhones with this exact exploit lol, but again I don’t recommend you to actually go and get an iPhone 7 just for this (or maybe iPhone 8, newer ROMs are made for A11 chip not A10)
