Let’s exclude JFTP from that. I plainly advertised JFTP.
You are still saying the words. If you were to edit them out, then you would be striking them out.
I understood the strikeout though. I’m just joking around

If you want to check it out, click on my profile bubble, click on the link to my site, then look for the section that has the title that starts with the word “Free”.
Sometime today, I plan on adding a ranking “algorithm” so that the search system works better.
Haha I’d seen it from your post earlier. Looks quite slick
The search bar on the front page, it’s rounded like Google’s. I’m wondering if I should make it sharp-cornered instead, to avoid either Copyright or Boring Looks.
What do you think?
Honestly I like the rounded bar. But thats just my preference, I preferer rounded corners on most things
I have now added a ban detection mechanism. If a JriMail user is Globali (yes, this is correct for Jri Globali) banned, the Search Console remains unavailable to the banned user.
Later today, ranking “algorithm”.
Not sure what the bug/feature is, but I get a 500 when trying to register a username that should be restricted like “admin”
Thanks for pointing that out! I thought I had things set right, but I guess I didn’t.
When you tried to register for an account that already exists, what it should have done is return the error: This username is already taken.
I guess there is a coding error somewhere there. I’ll look into it later today, while working on the algorithm.
By the way, “admin” is a banned account, to avoid registries like these. The real admin at Jri is Jri-creator.
It’s always seemed wrong to me that Alaska isn’t part of Canada.
Honestly, For years I thought it was (I’m from the UK, so didn’t learn about american geography till I was a young teenager)…
So I knew where ameria was on the map, and canada was above it… and I just kind of assumed that alaska was all part of Canada
Actually used to be Russia / Soviet Union and bought/traded by the US, I don’t think it was ever part of Canada, but it was not always a part of the US. Wikipedia will confirm if I’m right, just too lazy to fact check right now
Just checked, and you’re 100% right. Really facinating
I don’t know much geography, but happy to learn I got that right!
I’ve never been so glad to have sold my Tesla stock lol.
I signed up for a traiding212 account and got 0.025 shares in tesla for free, and sold them straight away to put the money into another portfolio… haha
I dropped the last bit of my Tesla stock around $370 USD, really glad that I did. Now I just regret not shorting it immediately afterwards.
same
Thanks to @Greenreader9 pointing out a bug in the Register page of JriMail, I’ve now pushed a new update.
This is now what happens:
Users trying to register with an existing username will now return an error, instead of a dreaded 500 error!
Users trying to register a username with foreign symbols, excluding _ and -, will receive an error instead of a failure from Jri Globali.
Now, time to work on the algorithm. Might take me a bit.
Looks like a user is wanting to add a subdomain to my search engine.
For ownership validation, I’ve asked them to add a CNAME record pointing to my search engine. If they can do this, I can add the domain.
This is the way I chose as ownership validation. Is this a good way?
