Just remembered this statement from Admin.

China seems to be different in lots of ways. A lot of service providers will take down your server for a certain period of time if it recieved an attack, including what I’m using right now.

Basically Internet connectivity in China is so expensive that attacks will cost everyone a massive amount of money regardless of whether you decide to pay for the bandwidth or get protection, and plugging out is unironically the most effective solution.

The funny thing is that Internet is cheap for domestic use. It’s only expensive for enterprise level connections so that includes servers.

I’m glad when some of you has the courage to comment and generally the courage to fight.

It’s pointless just to watch.

People need to understand that they are fighting for resources (that belong to them) with billionaires

It’s completely naive to expect billionaires to take care of people

The state/government must serve to ensure that its citizens are not hungry or homeless, that everyone has healthcare, and a bunch of other things, and not that the entire function of the state is to support and produce billionaires at the expense of everyone else.

How good and organized a country is is measured by how many
poor citizens it has and those homeless people on the streets, not how many rockets it sends to Mars. Not to mention the quality of life in the form of drinking water, an unpolluted environment, and so on.

These same billionaires own more and more resources that they stole and then they charge us for the same… people are really naive sheep and they still reward these same billionaires by not imposing taxes on them… these same billionaires create and change policies for their own interests.

Elon wants to become the first trillionaire - guess what’s the easiest way for him to become one? he buys trump and his campaign and now HE decides about state money…
in short, he will again take from the sheep, and what will the sheep get?

And while they play with the stocks and companies they bought
that the state depends on…guess what happens when they make a mistake in their betting game?

The state then intervenes and injects large amounts of money to get these companies back on their feet because these companies have a lot of workers or state security depends on them…
That money is your money and you are actually financing the billionaire’s game…
They don’t cover the costs of their games with their own money.

And when they sometimes win in their betting game, then that money is ONLY theirs…they don’t share it with you…
They use it to buy (steal) even more resources from you citizens of a country.

@lovebug

That was a good game and I was proud to finish it.

You sweat every time from one checkpoint to the next - it is so intense

Later you get weapons to hold in both hands.

You only hear the sound of an alien and you have no idea where it is and then you look up at the ceiling above and it’s sleeping above you
and then you “wake it up” with a ton of bullets running backwards :joy:

It’s always interesting to me how the brain fills in the gaps and when I played that game the graphics looked fully realistic to me and now when you look at it after all these years it looks like shit…

You probably played tekken, crash team racing, etc.

hahaah now I remember - for Tekken I had combos written down for Eddy on A4 paper and I took it to every fight with my friends.

I’ve just started playing again and I’ve noticed that playing the real consoles on CRT TV’s helped smooth out the graphics a little, things look too sharp and pixelated in the emulators

The PS1 only had a 33MHz CPU and 2MiB of RAM which isnt a lot of room for program code, sampled sound, polygons, textures, level layout etc but I don’t mind the graphics looking a bit rough because the game play is what counts and is more important to me than pretty looking graphics

Alien Resurrection on the PS1 is such a good game and a scary one too

I have Tekken 3 and still can remember the moves for my favorite character Ling Xiaoyu

I have played Crash Bandicoot but I have never tried the Crash racing games, I’ll check them out

Thanks

I just wanted to say that I had previously purchased the games I am again playing all these years later so I should be ok playing these games legally on an emulator

I hope :crossed_fingers:

Yes, it is perfectly fine playing your legally owned games in an emulator. I even play my owned PS1 games in an emulator once in a while. It’s when you download games online you don’t own is when you would be stepping into piracy. :slightly_smiling_face:

Play on!

we played battles (an in-game option) because it was one of the rare games where you could split the screen between 2 or 4 players
so then someone brought their controllers and we all played; so it was fun.
