Has anybody else experienced this oddity?
A weird number, no?
In a middle of a bump-and-clear, I was updating and clearing this cert, and I spotted this number.
Not an issue, but an oddity!

@Jri-Creator welcome to the regular club
(sorry for late greeting)
Thank you!
I’m also sorry for the late greeting, but welcome to the Regular club anyway!
Can someone inform me what it means to be a regular here at the forum? Also, Thank you!
trust_level_3 (regular)
Highly engaged, long-term contributors, who form the backbone of the community and have gained limited moderation privileges. All members of this group are also members of the trust_level_2, trust_level_1 and trust_level_0 groups.
If you dip below these requirements in the last 100 days, you will be demoted back to Member. However, in order to avoid constant promotion/demotion situations, there is a 2-week grace period immediately after gaining Trust Level 3 during which you will not be demoted.
Users at trust level 3 can…
Access a secure category only visible to users at trust level 3 and higher
Have all their links followed (we remove automatic nofollow)
TL3 spam flags cast on TL0 user posts immediately hide the post
TL3 flags cast on TL0 user posts in sufficient diversity will auto-silence the user and hide all their posts
Make their own posts wiki (that is, editable by any TL1+ users)
Daily like, edit, and flag limits increased by 2×
Admins can change these thresholds by searching for TL3 in site settings.
wow. Thats quite a set of stats…
Awesome!
Wait a minute, I’ve had 1 post flagged, back in December in Domain 000.pe Suspended by Registry
Does it not count?
You have 3 posts flagged
as you can see it doesn’t count
can we see these stats on our own account? I’m just nosey to see my own numbers, because I like stats. thats all really haha
Oh. What 3 posts? I only know of the one.
Also, I just noticed it would have to be past 5 to be refused TL3.
Amazing that I have these permissions in TL3, but what if I don’t use these [For example, I never choose to flag posts because I don’t want to falsely accuse]
Or if I abuse these permissions [If I act crazy and flag all posts]
What would happen?
No, but…In 7 days you will be a regular too
1 flag ignored
2 confirmed
I can’t give details but I think the forum should let you know what they are
You are not obliged to use them.
The forum is made so that as many forum members as possible are more active in arranging and keeping “the house” tidy and clean.
There is a limit (rate limit)
Every time your flag is not correct you get “negative” points,
every flag that the moderator confirms as valid you get points that give your profile credibility
In short, the forum has a point system
and when a user with a large number of points flags - that flag it has a big influence
because you have previously proven yourself credible
and then either the topic or whatever is automatically hidden, etc.
While on the other hand if every flag of yours is rejected, then your points are small so your flag does not have a big influence
If you overdo it and provoke unnecessarily… the moderator can always
lower your account to tl0 or delete you permanently.
Congrats on tl3 @Jri-Creator !
this whole this is quite impressive I didn’t realise how indepth the back end of this forum could be.
It’s one of the reasons I really like Discourse, the permission system is really well done in my opinion.
The more i use it, the more i like it too
