It would work and this might be an alternative approach to server-side file inclusion method. However, this is only practical when advantages outweigh the caveats of doing so. Embedding high number of smaller HTML fragments to a single webpage through XHR in the client side will generate more network requests than usual. I know this approach is useful when building PWAs and other type of modern web applications which manifest client-side rendering feature (CSR). But by doing so, depending on the size of the application, this approach may become a burden to websites which are hosted in a free web-hosting platform such as Infinityfree. I know that it was just an experiment of yours to demonstrate the availability of the approach, but use it sparingly on production-level xD.

But is there somebody in the van?

arch is kool™

I ise debian, far more superior than ubuntu

*puts engine revving noises when typing pacman -syu

Wow, 3 years older than infinityfree.net

Good old apt update && apt upgrade. If you don’t want any hassle of checking your distro’s website for new releases, you can just check for updates once every month. ~unlike windows~

I touched CLI almost everyday at this point..

Welcome back!

Actually it’s quite fun for a text-based adventure game. It’s full of surprises…

I noticed that I could not login in client area with adblocker turned on. I forgot to turn it off that’s why the Cloudflare’s CAPTCHA challenge didn’t load properly which was required for the authentication to suceed. But before I figured it out, I thought there’s something wrong with the webpage or the CAPTCHA challenge itself. uBlock origin mistakenly blocked the script from Cloudflare. Although each adblocker extension has its own rules for blocking websites, I think it’s better for Infinityfree to put a warning message everytime an adblocker is being detected, especially on the authentication page.

Which distro is it?

It’s a custom Ubuntu by the manufacturer of the SBC I bought sometime ago :stuck_out_tongue:

However it’s possible to setup this on your own. Google authenticator has a PAM module which you can use with SSHD.

I get really annoyed when I hear people mispronounce words beginning with ‘th’ using ‘n’ instead, Even news readers do it

It’s just annoying

Examples

‘And this’ becomes ‘And nis’
‘Even though’ becomes ‘Even no’

Is it so difficult for people to pronounce the ‘th’ sound now ? I don’t understand why people do this

I am annoyed when that happens, people see convenience but I see myself asking “What did you say?”. I can’t say I haven’t done it though.

I don’t think so. Maybe it’s too hard for some people whose mouth region is impaired.

It’s another issue. News readers and/or broadcasters tend to speak rapidly to ensure that they don’t exceed the allowed time limit. Accidental mistakes in pronunciation commonly happen. Slight mistakes are forgivable as long as the messages can be understood by normal citizens.

Other than that, I think it’s better for everyone to learn and master the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
