Hi! I’m always here… watching… but jokes aside, yes everything is fine here. School was cancelled yesterday for me, but it was nothing more than a bit of rain and wind. It was mostly up north and to the west of Florida. But thank you for checking up!

Bad news is we have new mini moon and disaster everywhere. You see, weather change very fast then disaster like storm, tropical cyclone, earth quake…Now, the question is: Who can become the hero ? Who can save the earth ? You ? You ? Or me ? Yes, I need an Iron Man now. Who can launch a nuclear missile to destroy the weird new moon and save all of us ?
Pretty sure the weather is related to climate change, and not an asteroid stuck on our orbit, but ok …

And about HARP, I’m hear about that project and I don’t think that is weapon. Few years ago, I saw Thailand’s King make rain for the farm, that’s amazing scene, that the same skill like HARP.

We are all aliens here except You, Discobot and InfinityFreeBot 
The biggest problems at the moment (or weapons) are: climate change, pandemics and disinformation.
The third is interesting because it’s really harder to find the truth, especially now in the AI era when anyone can create news and spread it in seconds.
Disinformation also relies on the lack of critical thinking and education (MAGA for example) so it became a weapon…the dumber people are, the easier it is to manipulate them…

In case you don’t know the WP Engine drama, here’s some quick news:
So first of all, WP Engine and Automattic initiated legal acts.
WP Engine’s servers are banned from accessing WordPress.org’s resources.
These are taken from the WordPress Slack. What I can tell is that many (including me) are against this stupid a**.
Matt actually expressed something like “I banned the users but it’s not my fault” in the WordPress.org news. 100% Logic here.
WordPress changed its trademark policy so now it might not be safe to use “WP”. And they tried to register “Managed WordPress” and “Hosted WordPress” as trademarks.
This will put many, many companies at risk. Potentially InfinityFree too, but less likely.
And WordPress.org is Matt Mullenweg’s private possesion, in case you don’t know.

Pressable, a Managed WordPress hosting service, recently announced a plan for customers migrating away from WP Engine. The banner on their site reads:
You may ask why is this relevant. Well, Pressable is owned by Automattic as of 2019. And Automattic is owned by Matt Mullenweg.
The act is just 100% disgusting.

This is now getting way too out of hand. Most core contributors are also against Matt’s decision and has been talking about this on Reddit.
The fact that WordPress.org is private and a single person can just deny whatever people from accessing WordPress is horrifying.
I’m jumping ship. Maybe switch to ClassicPress that I longed for. Maybe open that Laravel Documentaion which I never had time to read (admittedly). But WordPress is simply no longer a safe thing to use.
