Oh, did I forget to remove that? I was experimenting with an easier way to put links in and it did not work

POV: You are writing a WordPress theme then you suddenly found out that WordPress is asking for high-level accessibility and DIV s or SPAN s aren’t buttons:

This sh*t is driving me crazy these days :smiling_face_with_tear:

Looks like the volume vol11_1 had screwed up the php temporary folders…

I can understand where they are going with the accessibility thing. You wouldn’t want the users to struggle with the website functionality due to impairments especially when the userbase is large and the project is well known.

And that’s why I did implement these things.

Google PageSpeed Insights currently rank my site with a accessibility score of 96 / 100, still trying to complete the last 4% lol

:joy: When I logged into the forum I saw so many topics and wondered what was going on. And judging by the titles, I knew it was probably an outage. I wasn’t sure if I should merge the topics but since there were so many and more were being created, I thought it would probably help to keep the forum cleaner!

Best thing to do would be to link to the outage topic (or a topic that has the most info if an outage topic does not exist), then close and unlist the topic. Merging them makes kind of a mess for mods and admins as we can see all the unlisted and merged posts in separate places (it also makes flagging harder to manage - for me at least).

What? Don’t we all? (Except for regular users, of course) Is it different for moderators?

TL4 can view unlisted posts now? Huh, either that was an update change or Admin did that as my old TL4 test account was not able to.

But yeah, it is kind of annoying to have a large amounts of topics with posts moved, as you have both those unlisted topics (as per your first screenshot), and the post again in the topic you merged it to.

Odd, but at the same time, wouldn’t it be weird if TL4 could unlist topics but not even be able to see unlisted topics? That wouldn’t completely defeat the purpose, but, that would be odd. Imagine if I were to unlist a topic, go to the home page, and poof it’s gone.

Sure, but I don’t think it is that much of a problem. At least the forum will be clean in the eyes of others.

It was odd, and at the time the Discourse docs said it was not a changeable setting (hence the reason why nothing was said)

As always, feels good to be a TL4 :))

I thought you did this. Remember?

This was in reference to the post above it, about this image that WB posted:

Maybe this is when it changed. WB posted this in 8/23, and the logs say I tested my TL4 account in February of '23. So that could be possible that it was changed in August.

Haha…now you know why communication is hard.
It’s prone to a lot of mis-interpretation
