I’m not sure how everyone else feels, but being a full-stack developer is a lot easier than trying to develop useful applications in languages you don’t even know.
I have tried Rust, Go, XAML, VB.NET, and not been even a bit successful. I think, though, that is because I didn’t take much time (if any) to actually learn the language before trying to make some grand application. That’s not the case for HTML, PHP, JS and CSS, however, because I have been learning the static parts for the last three years and only started studying PHP in July (2021).
I have been successful in Python with GTK apps, but those only run on Linux 
and using WSL to debug Linux apps is not exactly what I call productive, if you know what I mean. That being said, it is easy and quick to learn. I have also tried WIndows Forms with PowerShell, but that didn’t last long.
I’m really a scattered person, if anyone can relate. As you can see, I’ve been trying to learn languages that don’t interest me and that just doesn’t end well. What I’ve concluded from this is: Stick to full-stack development and don’t try to wander too far.

I learned early on to never do that, especially if it is something that I am given a choice on.
It applies in all aspects of life (Especially the second part). If you don’t like something, you just are not going to put heart and soul into it.
In other news, GSC now accepts 24 of my pages (Upgrade from 7), although only 10 show up in the index.

I actually like Go, and a lot of the other languages aren’t “strictly” related to web development, so they focus on a lot of other aspects. PHP is pretty much meant for the web (seeing as you integrate it with HTML), whereas Go and other languages can have a wide array of uses, from making apps or even Operating Systems (although that is not really for Go itself, and more for other languages like C). Still though, I find it interesting to learn, especially because I want to use it for other things, like systems programming.

- Do brainless activities over and over
- Go home again
- Get about an hour or two of free time and eating
- Drop dead in bed and stop thinking (technically… sleep)
