there are tons and tons of firefox add-ons that do translations, but believe me, they are slow and far too complicated.
wanna translate a marked word with one single click ?
just create a bookmark(let) in the toolbar of firefox (or waterfox or other browsers) containing this:
follow link: https://0bin.net/paste/wFjDSfmQw2NYapIg#a9Xtuyp5IyiR281WAwS-5CNlYslKHiPd8aqNKvb0Zz6
The *+‘&sl=auto&tl=*de ’ bit you may want to modify… use fr instead of de for e.g. French (Spanish = es) while de translates into the German language.
Sorry, had to use link since JS content though benign as this is, is being rejected here, for very profound reasons I guess.
Now how can we kinda make this a feature in infinityfree somehow?

I was going to say something about the Website Translator widget from Google, but it seems like they have discontinued it to “encourage users looking to translate web pages to use browsers that support translation natively” (i.e. use Google Chrome).
How would you like to see this as a feature and where? Is this something for our panels or something you could easily setup on websites?

cloudflare has a button which will enable google-translator on every webpage of a domain without any further setup or anything.
is it possible to have php code which will generate a local bookmarklet? That would be a nifty feature.

Bookmarklets generally tend to be Javascript code so they can run in the web browser. I’m not sure what the PHP code would need to do?
