Wont let me login to file manager

Everytime i go to the file manager it prompts me to login and i put the info in and it keeps saying
ERROR! Could not read line from socket

i did create a new account but even on a account made around 1-2 weeks ago keeps getting the error

Probably because of ongoing maintenance and upgrade to the servers in the last few weeks.
