Why is my website suspended?

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. There is a server issue causing this problem. They are aware of it and are working to fix it. If you check back later, things should be working again.

Today are there still these kinds of issues with the server?

My account (footballbanker.rf.gd) was suspended about 1 hour ago, while I was working on the site, I sent a quick mail to support, then about 10 minutes later the account came back, was on for about 50 minutes, and then it shows suspended again.

Hi. Welcome to the forum.

Your website seems to be working properly for me.

It’s still suspended.

So to summarize, I mailed twice support, website came back twice, but now is suspended yet again.

I guess I will come back in like 12 hours, otherwise I’m just losing my time.

PS: what kind of device or browser have you used to get this view, because I’m working now on the site, but I have tried it in several browsers, also different sizes of screens, but the view I saw is different than yours (everything perfectly centered, etc.).

Maybe your site was suspended for other reasons?

Its a Samsung Galaxy tablet in portrait orientation. I used Vivaldi browser to do a screenshot. The green area to the right was added by the screen capture. It normally doesn’t appear that way on the screen while browsing.

No, nothing wrong on the site.

Plus iwhy after sending 2 support tickets they have reactivated twice, in the response was both times:
"It appears your website was incorrectly detected as abuse by our anti fraud systems.
"

I set up an RSS reader on one of my sites and subscribed to a bunch of White Hat hacker/ security feeds. They posted articles about how defend against attacks by bad hackers. But, my account got suspended because the words “exploit” and “keylogger” appeared in the RSS feeds. They (InfinityFree) have programs which search for abuse and fraud and they flag accounts automatically. Something seems to be triggering the abuse filter. In my case, I removed the RSS feeds and my account got restored. You’ll have to ask support or the admin what is triggering the abuse filter on your site.

Probably is something like that, because I am setting up a sports service to sell football (soccer) tips on subscription basis. I may have a word in the text on the index page their software does not like…

I asked the support people if they could tell me specifically what was causing the problem. They told me about “exploit” and “keylogger” and linked me to the Terms of Service.

According to this post: Ask : Website Hosting Rules

Admin says: “Gambling related content is allowed, as long as the gambling games and payment systems are not hosted on InfinityFree.”

Yeah, I realised that sports-betting relating stuff was allowed reading their terms…
Payment will be through PayPal, and I won’t even have any links to bookmakers, like almost all sites have which sell picks, and are hosted in the US (they all have loads of affiliate links to bookies).

I think that only admin or support can explain what is triggering the abuse filter on your site.

I hope you can find the cause.

It will be interesting to find out which one is a “bad” word.
I have just sent another ticket, asked about these words:

sports-bettor

  • sports-betting
  • income
  • money management
  • wager
  • odds
  • asian handicap
  • bankroll
  • Euro
  • USD
  • susbcription-based

You probably won’t get an exact response, as the list of forbidden words is private. If it was given out, then it would be very easy to circumvent.

Maybe he could ask what he could do to bring the site into compliance to avoid getting suspended? If you don’t understand what is causing the problem, how can you correct it?

I got this answer:

Hi there,

Sorry but a premium plan is required to host this content, on free hosting, it will always be suspended.

Every premium account includes a free domain name, huge disk space, traffic quotas and no CPU quotas with hundreds of extra features:
Web Hosting, Domain Registration, Dedicated Server, VPS Server

Thank you and stay safe !

Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

No way I am going to pay for something I need to run 3-4 month to prove it is profitable and only after that I’ll get paying customers. The only reason I was using this free host is because no other in the world gives a free SSL.

But I am making the same site at “google sites” for free, (that is OK for SSL) yes it will be a horrible looking name for the site, and won’t look maybe exactly as I wanted to (the design) but it is what it is.

I can pay for a real domain name and a hosting after 4 month if everything works OK,

So I’m out from here…

The thing which makes me really angry besides the time I’ve lost here is that I have seen a sports service hosted here for free (because I recognised the free domain), and had all kinds of words like I had on this list. I just can’t remember it’s name.

So this is going by luck totally, I guess.
