No error message, but for SOME REASON, I have the CName records setup correctly and it says ‘ready’ for 10 minutes (it took 30 min to detect it) and then it says ‘not found not ready’. I go to the CPanel and it clearly has the records, and I have to delete and readd them (which takes upto an hour)…
Other Information
This didn’t happen before… but it started happening now.
So this happens:
It says ‘Ready’ and it says the status for the keys is pending.
Then while it is pending, the ‘Ready’ goes to ‘Not Ready’ and the key making is canceled. And I waited 30 min and nothing happened so I readded the keys and waited 10-20 min and it worked. But here’s the thing: It didn’t do this a month ago.
The CNAME readyness check can flip-flop a bit if DNS hasn’t fully propagated yet. That’s “normal”. Or at least, pretty hard to fix. There are a lot of moving parts in DNS.
If that happens, just don’t touch the settings - wait for the checks to stay green. That can take a couple of hours at most. Again, if you start removing entries again, you risk poisoning the cache with bad data. The more you fiddle with the settings, the longer it will take for the certificate to be issued.
I can check if there is something of note in the logs. But I can’t find the domain on your profile.
I can find it on another profile with a similar IP address. Which, just like your “main” (?) profile has three active hosting accounts.
So please remember the limit is three hosting accounts per PERSON. Creating multiple profiles to create more than three accounts is not allowed and is grounds for termination of all your accounts.
So please merge some accounts to ensure you have less than three accounts. Or, if you need a large number of accounts, consider purchasing a reseller hosting account.
