What information gets logged/stored at InfinityFree when users access my free site?

  • IP address?
  • URL (https://…/index.php)?
  • URL incl. parameters (https://…/index.php?par1=val1&par2=val2)?
  • Timestamp?
  • HTML forms data (post action)?
  • …?

I don’t think InfinityFree tracks your visitors, although I could be wrong. You can use a third party like Google Analytics to track it yourself though.

As far as I know, the standard web server access log data is recorded. This log information includes things like:

  • Date and time.
  • IP address
  • Full URL
  • User Agent (a piece of text identifying the browser and OS of the visitor)

But to my knowledge, this data is only aggregated into a hit counter per account per day, and not actually stored.

HTTP POST data (the stuff that’s submitted through most forms) is not stored.
