I still configure my infinite duration self-signed certificates on my servers set by default when no site is there, by the way, and this screenshot shows the proof:

What OS are you using? Linux Mint? Or something?

KDE neon, which is Ubuntu 18.04 with the latest KDE software. It can be downloaded from KDE neon. The edition I’m using is the User Edition, which has more stability.
