# Website subdomain change

Hello there! I have a website that ends with 000.pe . As we got the notice, the registry has suspended 000.pe websites and it may take time to fix it depending on various things.
I wanted to know, that is there any way to change my current website sub domain? For example; suppose my website url is testing.000.pe, can i change my website url to [testing.42web.io](http://testing.42web.io) ? just want to change the subdomain. full website, database everything will remain same just want to change the subdomian from 000.pe to [42web.io](http://42web.io). Is it possible? If yes then how? Thank you in advance.

i guess so. will this process also works for database shifting? i mean i have a registration option on my website. So It has users id and password. If i follow these method, will the database (user id, pass) also gets shifted? because thats also what i need.

The simplest method is to do the following:
1. Add the new subdomain to the _same_ account.
2. Move the website files to the new location
3. Update whatever configuration is necessary for your website to use the new domain name.
This way, you don’t need to move any databases. Databases are configured on the account level, so there is no need to move them to use them with a different domain on the same account.
