Hello, the index thing isnt working for me. I only see the default index html…how do i create my own?

Your domain name (address) ? Create an index file that has one of the extensions listed in the article

What is the purpose of it? WIll my site that i configured then load?

I just create the same index file that is the default and delete your websites maybe?

and i would have to write the html no?

[image] anon86302946: What is the purpose of it? the server must somehow know which file will serve as the default HOME page for your site by default, that file is called index, and depending on the language in which it is written, it can be html or php (here on hosting) if you have a finished website of yours, then check if you have uploaded it to the right place delete index2.html and I’ll see what you have there

Laravel ? search online how to generate index (home page) but as far as I can see you have some additional problems

L have this error while I trying to deploy my laravel app .how can I fix it Hosting Support

It seems that you either didn’t run composer install in your project or didn’t upload the vendor folder of your installation. We don’t offer command line access on our hosting, or have Composer integration, so you’ll need to prepare the Composer dependencies first and upload those over FTP.

The setting works most of the time, but not always, depending on the website. Some software, like Laravel, override the server settings for displaying error. In that case, you need to enable debug mode in the software, or check the logs it produces. Fortunately, you found the logs already. I take it you just uploaded the vendor folder from your own computer to your site? Usually this is good enough, but it seems that Laravel specifically wants the development packages to be removed from you…

You can use Laravel 8 though, but for Laravel 9 you’ll have to wait until we upgrade to PHP 8.
