Website flagged as unsafe by google safe browsing

Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.

The fix is to use Google Search Console: it shows why Google flagged the site and lets you request a review. I can’t check the site or see why Google flagged it. Flags like this usually come from automated scanners, so a site can be marked even when you’ve added nothing harmful. Our article on this warning explains that:

The article’s steps:

  1. Add srisitaramvidyalaya.great-site.net to Google Search Console and verify ownership.
  2. Open the “Security Issues” section. It lists what Google detected, such as phishing or malware.
  3. If it lists something, remove it. If it lists nothing, or you’re sure it’s a false positive, request a review. Google then checks the site manually and lifts the block if it’s clean.

The article also says Microsoft Edge uses a separate service, SmartScreen, so a review with Google won’t clear that one.

Once Search Console shows what Google found, tell me what it says. Also tell me what’s on the site, such as a copied template, login or contact forms, or a CMS like WordPress. The article lists outdated software, insecure forms and vulnerable scripts as common causes, and that would help narrow it down.
