I’ve been trying to work on my site, but as I insert layouts and manipulate each area, I’ve seem to get boxes overlapping near the bottom of the page. Is there set website length max with the site builder?
Only maximum lengths are the ones set by browsers, my guess is some weird CSS stuff. Check out dev tools, anything interesting with your layout shown there? A screenshot of what you see (and what is should look like) would be helpful if you want us to assist you.
Let me see if I can explain it better. I’ll preface that I’m on the free version of site builder. I can really show a good and bad screenshot because it’s incorrect in the preview.
So when you insert layout you can pick different setups. I was using the one with 6 rectangles (3 stacked side by side). I sized each rectangle to be 300px high and I had 30 of them. I resized each set, but when I got to the last 3 number 28’s box extends into the buttom to boxes and the page in the preview stops stretching further down the page. BTW nothing extends into the site.pro advo at the bottom of the page.
I was up late last night and decided to organize the information in a different way. But I will set up one of the other pages the same way so you can see what I’m talking about.
So, while I started working on the other page to give an example I accidentally stumbled on to the solution. On the LAYOUT page under PAGE STRUCTURE there’s an actual px size that can be changed. It looks like a default number which was likely causing my issue on the other page. Learning as I go.
That’s a TIL for me too. I have a some experience with Site.Pro, but it’s been a while since I’ve used it extensively. And they update their builder very frequently.
