Over the last few weeks, many people have experienced intermittent connectivity issues with their databases, like MySQL server has gone away. We suspect that these issues are being caused by old hardware which is unable to handle the load. It has taken longer than we’ve hoped, but the new database servers are almost ready and are currently being prepared to be taken in use. This week, all databases will be moved to the new hardware.
