These are the Wordpress sites for the notes of my DnD sessions. One of our players (from Denmark, same country as me) cannot view the sites. I have verified, via remote desktop, that the links are valid. I have even tried putting them into safe sites in their windows defender.
But before doing that, I would like to confirm first that the issue that these players are having actually matches the typical IP block issue. The message “Website cannot be reached” is not very specific.
In Chrome and derivates, there is usually an error code lower on the page, in all caps and underscores, starting with ERR_. What error code do they see when they try to access your site?
A connection reset error could also be caused by us. But if I need to check if their IP address is blocked, then I do need to know what IP address I should check.
ask them what they see if they go to gamer.gd and rf.gd
That might give some hints.
If they can’t see either, then its a good chance its an IP block, if they can see rf.gd but not gamer.gd then there’s a good chance its an ISP block.
Neither of these are guaranteed, but might give us some hints.
IF it is an IP block, they’ll either need to provide their public IP (so it can be unblocked), or use a VPN (or proxy) to access your site.
