### Error Message

No specific error message. I accidentally deleted the MySQL database through the InfinityFree Control Panel. The database and its records are no longer available.

### Other Information

I accidentally deleted my MySQL database from the InfinityFree Control Panel on October 19, 2026.

The database contained important financial data for my Target Tracker Management System, including annual targets, daily income records, and monthly income records.

Unfortunately, I have no SQL backup or local copy of the database. My website files are still available.

Is there any server-side backup, snapshot, or other recovery method that could restore the deleted database and its records?

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.

- Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
- Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
- AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
- Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

_Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look._

I’m afraid a dropped database can’t be restored. InfinityFree doesn’t keep backups, so there’s no server-side snapshot to recover it from.

A staff-accepted answer on a near-identical topic says this directly: once you drop something from a database, it’s gone.

I had searched on the internet and in the forum for solutions, I know it could be very difficult, but I still want to ask to see if there is any way. Additionally, if the deleted table can not be restored, I want to know how to avoid such operations in the future. How could I create a backup of the database? I also found a topic from someone who dropped a whole database. It asks the same question as yours, but I can’t see an answer in the part I could read.

Your website files are still there, so you can get the app running again. Create a new database, import any SQL export you still have, and update the connection details in your site’s config. Anything that was only in the deleted database is lost.

For the future, the same answer says to export your database regularly from phpMyAdmin’s Export tab and keep the file somewhere local.

I’m afraid not. Free hosting doesn’t do automatic backups, so deleted really means deleted.
