Error Message

Despite attempts to upload via FTP or filemanager, none worked. So, created new file by name index.html hoping to copy-paste code and save it, but no paste option available. Renamed to ind which worked. Used 16 mb + inode of 70% which is within the prescribed limit. Checked with domain checker that has no issues. Checked with website builder which points to index2.html. tried to upload index2.html from Android to htdocs, but error is FTP quota exceeded. Index.html got loaded to main domain fabricpainting.lovestoblog.com. subdomain website doesn’t work as expected.

(please share the FULL error message you see, if applicable)

Other Information

(other information and details relevant to your question)

The disk / inode usage is only updated around every 8 hours and not in real time so it is possible that it is exceeded which is why you are getting that message

If you are able to then wait a while and check the stats again to verify this

Or try deleting some unnecessary old files if you have any and then try uploading again

It shows 705/59400 inodes after waiting for few hours. Able to upload 7kb/13kb index file and then ftp quota exceeded error occurs. Unable to delete files, tried to delete. Renaming file works. It got uploaded to main domain when I tried to find reason for not getting uploaded to subdomain. Trying to find out error problem if it is

Possibly the server is objecting to something in the file ?

Could you share the file so I can try it and see what the issue is ?

Are you using the online file manager? It has the tendency to show that error. It’s not entirely clear why this happens, but what is clear is that it doesn’t indicate any limit on your hosting account.

You can use a desktop FTP client to work around this.
