My new website which is hosted on infinity free cleartopic.tech is showing above error message ever since I uploaded wordpress using ftp. Tried all the things demonstrated over the infinity free website for this issue but nothing worked. Help would be appreciated.

Hi,
This error occurs if the server can’t handle your code or your code is broken or something in your code is missing.
Also I would recommend you to install wp through Softaculous.
Did you check the relevant KB article? https://infinityfree.net/support/http-error-500/

I have deleted and reuploaded wordpress using ftp but still having the same problem. Though I will check and try the softaculous and update.

What didn’t work for you? Enabling the error reporting? Finding the debug mode flag for your software? Getting an actual error message? Fixing the actual error message?

That’s because i deleted my current hosting account and made a new one for fresh start

Dear Admin, I turned on the WP-Debug “True” but this is not making any log in wp-content folder. I have deleted my current hosting and made a new one and installed wordpress using softaculous but still facing some issues. I think it will take some time to understand all the processes on Infinityfree for me. By the way Thanks for your help. I will help myself further. I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

You installed wordpress on http://www.cleartopic.tech/ not on http://cleartopic.tech/
I think you had to put redirect from http://cleartopic.tech to http://www.cleartopic.tech and also your database credentials are maybe not correct due to i am receiving Error Establishing Database Connection upon visiting http://www.cleartopic.tech/

Well he did use Softaculous to install his WP, so the credentials should be right, I can’t also tell why it showed that error.
