I have the two WordPress installations mentioned above installed in one account. When I upload the MySQL Database for honoringhomer.net, that site works fine. But when I upload the different MySQL Database for bodyearth.org in its separate installation, going to bodyearth.org opens a quick WordPress installation page. Do I need to activate some setting for a multi-site installation? Or put the two WordPress sites in separate Infinity accounts?
Two applications using the same database is perfectly possible, just make sure that the table prefix is different.
However, the only reason why you’d ever want this is if you cannot create separate databases for some reason. But the number of databases you can have on a free account with us is practically unlimited, so there is no benefit of using the same database.
When you say “upload the database”, does that mean that you are migrating an existing installation? If so, please make sure that your database settings in wp-config.php are correct. Seeing the installation page usually means that the settings are incorrect and WordPress couldn’t find the database to use.

I’ve deleted the bodyearth.org domain from its original account (the one with sandhillcrane.42web.io ) and attempted to add it to a new account (the one with earthtolive.gt.tc ) as you suggested. I’ve changed the nameservers for the domain as indicated.
The bodyearth.org domain doesn’t show on the list of my domains but its folder (from the previous installation) does appear in the files when I look at the files for my whole infinityfree account with the FTP app.
This bodyearth.org domain is not showing up in the new account I just established. Should I delete the leftover folder for bodyearth.org that I see in the whole infinityfree account and redo my attempt to add the domain to the new account?
What do you mean by “attempted to add”? Are you sure that the domain is actually added? The domain doesn’t seem to have any DNS records on it right now and I think you may not have really added the domain.
If it actually have the previous files then you are probably looking at the old account as well. Deleting a domain will not delete the corresponding files.
My question is: Should I delete the bodyearth.org folder? Does keeping it in the overall client account interfere with establishing the domain in the new hosting account?
No. The folder is just a folder like any random folder and not server level configuration.
It will have zero effect on adding your domain to another account so long as the domain itself was removed from the account.
Let alone the fact that you have two separate accounts. Files from one account could never affect another.
For the same reason you could delete the folder if you want, but it will not really do anything.
