Tring to get SSL certificate

Hi! I’m trying to use InfinityFree for Wordpress blogging and I’m trying to setup the SSL part for use https. I don’t want to use a third part domain, only the free I get with InfinityFree for now.

So, I’ve tried to create a SSL certificate from the Free SSL Certificates section. At first I’ve read here that I need to avoid byet.org servers, and I see that I’m pointing to that.

  1. I need to change it so? How can I do that?

  2. I’ve requested the SSL yesterday, than today I’ve understood that I need to add a record in my cpanel at the cname section. Am I missing something?

I still see these messages:

Your domain name is using InfinityFree nameservers. Please set up the CNAME records through our control panel

Please set up the validation checks shown above. As soon as the validation is completed, we’ll create your SSL certificate.

update: now I see current destination in “ready” status.

As you can see in the middle of your screenshot:

Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect.

Hi, thanks for the reply. That part it’s clear for me. I want only knows if all it’s configured correctly. :grinning:

Try going to https://www.yoursite.tld and see if you get an error or your site. If you get your site, check and see if there is a lock icon in the upper left, if that’s there, your all good!
