can you help us a little and tell us where the URL would lead ?

it is possible that the file does not exist and your php folder is hidden from view
and there is no index file

name: rgrgrgr
email: [email protected]
msg: efwefwe

Thanks for trying out…

OK I found a problem

it calls file chat.php

The chat word is forbidden here - so that error

because chat is forbidden in TOS (it consumes too many resources)

unless embedded from some third party

rename the file temporarily to something else

ok, I will try to rename the chat.php to chatting.php
I hope it will fix the problem. :slightly_smiling_face:

no ! because it has the word chat again

and everywhere in the code where you have it remember to correct the path

then how about msg.php?

and please if it’s really a real time chat script then it’s it is forbidden in TOS

if it’s just some mess…system like a forum post then it’s OK

unfortunately, its real time. I am using AJAX.

if that code uses a database and constantly pings users to see if they are online and
nonstop refresh database looking for new messages etc.

if yes - then you should use some embed chat
or switch it all to some slow messaging system like a guestbook

Thanks again, I have change the chat.php to msg.php and as for AJAX, The owner of infinityfree told that there should not be issue when using AJAX if implement correctly. :slightly_smiling_face:.

As long as you’re not using it for chat scripts. It’s not possible to have a lightweight chat script in PHP.
