I do have the same issue as the guy you mention, should I just give up and find a new hosting platform?

It’s not an issue, and I think I linked the wrong one. The correct one is linked below.

I can’t copy and paste for some reason, but here is a screenshot:

Up to you. Note that most free hosting platforms have the same limit, so you may need to upgrade to a premium host on order to escape it.

How can I find this information out of how much bandwith and storage I use on a daily basis or what can I do to find if it is a plugin is there some plugin or app that can show me how much resources I am using on my website to narrow down the cause?

There are graphs in the control panel that show this. Note that they only update every 24 hours, so they are not the best way to track things.

Unfortunately, there is nothing of the sort. You can try using the “Network” tab in Dev tools, but I don’t think that will work very well either.

If you want better statistics, you will need to upgrade to premium hosting.
Thanks

The IO usage is tracked on the server level and recorded per account. It’s not possible to read this through PHP or from the browser.

The statistics on premium hosting are a bit better in that the usage is broken down per hour, you get “snapshots” showing which processes run at a certain time, and you get server access logs. By putting all of those things together you can make an educated guess about what the cause of the usage is. But don’t expect to get an answer like “this plugin is the issue”.
