Subdomain DNS Records Not Publishing Globally - fever.gt.tc

Website URL

My Infinity Free subdomain fever.gt.tc is not accessible to most users globally.

Error Message

Dns probe finished nxdomain error

fever.gt.tc (created January 2026) is completely inaccessible to the vast majority of users and DNS services worldwide. The domain only works when users manually configure their DNS to Google’s 8.8.8.8.

1. whatsmydns.net — Global DNS test shows my domain failing on most nameservers worldwide

2. MX Toolbox — Says “DNS Record not found”

Other Information

Verified subdomain is active in Infinity Free control panel

  • Tested on multiple devices (phone, tablet, laptop)
  • Checked with multiple DNS testing tools
  • Confirmed the issue is NOT on my devices (works with Google DNS)

Thank you for urgent assistance on this critical issue.

Welcome to the forum

I’ve checked your site with friends across the UK, and can confirm its working here (not that helps much). You say you’ve checked with users gobally? Can I ask where in the world you’ve checked?

Whatsmydns.net shows that it is accessable at most name servers world wide, with a blip in Bejing and germany

MX toolbox also show’s it as working:

Since its working on google dns but not your ISP’s dns, its possible that your ISP are blocking the gt.tc domain. This happens a lot.

Thanks a good piece of info.

Is my site using A record or CNAME?

When I test with the A record on whatsmydns, it works. But it’s red crosses worldwide once I change to cname.

Can you test:

whatsmydns for fever.gt.tc (CNAME record)

If UK can resolve the CNAME but Singapore can’t, then Singapore ISPs don’t follow CNAME chains properly.

Many thanks

Cname isn’t working for me either. But I think A records is how the free donations are set up (don’t quote me though)

Both my subdomains are already using A records

fever.gt.tc → A record → 185.27.134.215

www.fever.gt.tc → A record → 185.27.134.215

So it’s not a CNAME issue.

If it works in the UK but not Singapore, then:

Either Singapore ISPs are blocking the .gt.tc domain

Or Singapore ISPs are blocking the IP 185.27.134.215

Free subdomains are pointed to accounts using A records, not CNAME records. If you check for CNAME records, you’ll see no results. Note that A records and CNAME records are mutually exclusive, you can’t have both on the same hostname.

Thank you got clarifying.

Why would some Singapore ISPs resolve .gt.tc but others can’t?

Is there a way to fix this at Infinity Free’s DNS level?

Thank you.

It depends entirely on the said ISP. We cannot fix those ISPs for you.

Nothing is wrong on the free hosting DNS.

Every ISP has their own network and their own DNS servers, and they all operate them as they deem best. So except for cases where a government issues a specific ban that ISPs must enforce, you’re going to see differences in how they approach security and what they block and what they won’t.

No.

Your ISP is blocking the connections before they ever get to us. We cannot fix traffic that never reaches our network.
