Error Message

  1. Failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized
  2. Failed to open stream: operation failed

Other Information

I installed a new certificate which is not self signed to solve the issue of ‘self-signed certificate’ but after the installation I still get these errors. Later I noticed that the previous certificate is still active. Kindly help me understand if the latest one will not work until the previous one has expired. If it can, then how.

In my experience, if you delete the self-signed cert, installed the non-self-signed cert, and give the system about 15 minutes to set-up, it works fine.

The new non-self-signed cert is working fine on my end, so it might take a moment for it to work on yours.

Well, it’s only that I didn’t get a way to delete the self-signed one because the option available (deleting the order) have some limitations that the certificate will remain installed and reflecting on the website until expiration but I wished to do away with it.

Just delete it, and install the non-self-signed one. It will clear, overriding the untrusted cert.
