it’s been 3 hours since I ordered and automatically installed a certificate but it still doesn’t work. CNAME records are in place and so are keys in the CPanel, yet to no avail. Would anyone please mind helping me?

Since you hide your domain there’s not much we can tell.

Fair enough, I thought it didn’t make much difference as there’s literally nothing on it apart from a plain WP installation.

Your website pretty much works with HTTPS, so it might be a temporary blurp in the check.

I just had a look at the checker but it seems all good now.
And for the record: I didn’t do anything.
Note that it can take up to an hour for a new SSL certificate to become active. And there is some cache on the SSL status checker too.
How long ago was is that you installed the certificate before concluding that it didn’t work?

It literally just started working. I didn’t do anything at all (apart from reloading). Thanks so much! ^^
It took around three hours. I installed it at pretty much bang on 11:00 CET…
I know right. It’s Themify Ultra - a friend of mine is a web developer and was so kind to give it to me. It will be my first site just to impress for a Erasmus+ application and I didn’t want to pay big bucks for yearly hosting when I’ll only use it for around three months…
