Never had to do that before, have done it now but the address bar still shows ‘Not’ Secure’ It’s happening in Brave and Opera. ACE, DuckDuckGo, Firefox and Edge show it as a secure site.

Ok, disregard, must be something with my machine even though I’ve cleared the browsing date and restarted Brave and Opera.

Some browsers check in the background whether the website you’re trying to access supports HTTPS, and will redirect you to HTTPS even if you requested the HTTP version.

However, I would still recommend to enforce HTTPS from your website and not just rely on browser behavior.
