Other Information

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone has run into this before and can point me in the right direction.

My website works 100% fine on desktop browsers and even on an old iPhone 7. But when I try to load it on a modern iPhone (15/16, etc.), the page just stays completely blank—no errors, nothing.

Here’s the strange part: I uploaded the exact same files to GitHub Pages, and it works perfectly on those same modern iPhones. So the issue seems to be with my setup here on InfinityFree.

I’ve also tried a couple of different subdomains and the problem persists, so it doesn’t seem to be tied to one specific subdomain name.

Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas what could be causing it? I’m wondering if it could be related to something like:

  • A specific SSL/TLS setting

  • A security header that modern Safari doesn’t like

  • A server-level configuration

Any clue that could help, or even better, a fix, would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,
Pascal

On the newer Iphones

have you tried clearing the cache?
Is JavaScript enabled (this is needed to pass the security system)?

I don’t use Iphone so I don’t know if you can access the browser console, but if you can, are there any errors in that?

On my desktop, I get this error

but I get the same on my own site, so I don’t think its an actual issue

iPhones don’t get dev tools on Safari unless paired with a Mac, or by using an extension with a frankensteined dev tools (iOS 15+ only)

Ah typical… I’ve never used Iphone or Mac at all…

Thank you so much for taking the time to help with this!

I really appreciate the suggestions. I tried both of them:

  • Cleared all Safari history and website data

  • Confirmed JavaScript is enabled for modern websites

Unfortunately, the issue still persists - the page remains completely blank on my iPhone 16.

You mentioned you get a similar error on your own site - if it’s not too bold to ask, would you be willing to share your website URL? I’d be curious to test if it loads on my iPhone, which might help narrow down whether this is a broader compatibility issue or something specific to my setup.

Thanks again for your help - really appreciate the community support!

Best regards,
Pascal

Also keep in mind that github pages works 100% as well as netlify. But Problem is github pages are public all repos not secure at all :stuck_out_tongue: And netlify is credit based per pipeline push. I need to wait a whole month to just update my code. Sadness

Thx for your website.

It is working fine on desktop. I have to proof im human via cloudflare checkbox.

Iphone 16. for some reason still see the proof you human cloudflare checkbox.

after the checkbox on iphone 16 I see

403 Forbidden
openresty

That’s a very interesting finding! That 403 error suggests that your IP address may be blocked on our end.

However, that has nothing to do with the device you’re using, it’s 100% a network thing. Is the new iPhone on the same WiFi network as the old phone and desktop?
