Site still says Not Secure after doing SSL steps

Error Message

I’m new to all this and I purchased my domain yesterday and linked it to my site. All good but I noted that it said Not Secure. After searching I found that it was due to needing SSL certificate so I went through all the steps (I believe) I found on making site secure. It says the SSL is installed and I set up the .htaccess file but the site is still showing Not Secure. What more do I need to do please?

Hello and the community welcomes you! Regarding the issue at hand, I see no problem on my side. If your site is very recent, maybe just give it some time for everything to take effect and the internet to catch up.

I worked it out. In my HTML there was one link that was going to http instead of https. Fixed that and now all good.

Seems to be working now.

It can take an hour or so for the SSL certificate to activate and be visible everywhere,
