The CNAME records have been set up! Please note that it may take up to an hour to take effect due to DNS propagation/caching.
even though i get the above response and have waited for hours/days, I still get “Not secure https…”
Did you click the button to install the certificate?
The certificate order is still “pending”, which means it’s waiting for you to take action.
The CNAME record is already set up. All you need to do is click the Request Certificate button to get the certificate.
But you will need to click that button yourself. If you don’t do anything and just wait for the certificate to appear on it’s own, nothing will happen.

No need! You’re far from the first to not look beyond the certificates list, so it’s probably something we should improve too in the interface.
And there are people for whom it took a lot longer for the penny to drop than it did for you.
