[RESOLVED] Domain ct.ws and wuaze.com are down - 15 May 2026

To answer some of the questions that have been asked:

  • Yes, it’s still not working.
  • The domains affected by this issue are ct.ws and wuaze.com. Other domains are unaffected by this. If you have your website on another domain and are also experiencing issues, please create a new topic, because it’s probably a different issue.
  • If your domain is still working for you, then you can assume that that’s due to DNS caching, and your website will go down too if this issue isn’t fixed quickly.
  • No, I have no idea when this will be fixed. I’m still waiting on the registrar to respond, and I have no idea how long that will take. And since I don’t know what actually triggered the suspension, I don’t know what else needs to happen to get this resolved.
  • I will share an update when there is something to tell.

Rest assured: your website is unreachable right now, it’s not gone. Your files, databases and other settings are completely in-tact, and when the domain comes back online, so will your website.

Hope for the best ! :folded_hands:

It is possible to implemet a backup domain for us free users since we are limited 3 per account without having to make another account and probably redirect the main domain to the backup domain until main gets fixed?

You can add another domain to any of your free hosting accounts

oh i thought im limited to 1, thank you

Can u explain the process?

Go at https://dash.infinityfree.com/accounts click on add domain, and should be there to add another domain, once u do that, just copy your web files to that domain as well, easy fix for a backup

Will we be getting any notifications or emails to say when or if this issue gets resolved ?
I don’t wanna keep checking the forum every hour to see if there’s been any progress.

yeah, works, easy fix. thanks.
a little customization, and my app works again, i can continue my work.
the problem is, now i have 2 set of files on my apps, i must make sure this wil not be a problem later

But the website url will change right? Example now my website is Malluonline.ct.ws . Once we change the domain the site link will change?

Yes.

It’s not possible to redirect the problem domains at present because the registrar are blocking them.

yes but you can keep both until the main one gets fixed.
for example, Malluonline.ct.ws is your main one, and add another domain such as Malluonline.xyz domain where xyz is the domain you wish to have, copy files from ct.ws to xyz and everything should be good to go

No, we cannot practically inform everyone directly about this. Emailing everyone is a very slow and costly process.

And there is really no need to check the forum every hour if you don’t want to. We’re doing our best to get this resolved as quickly as possible, and that’s not going to be any faster or slower if you check the forum more or less frequently.

Another solution is to use a parked domain… then you just need to change the URL data within the database and internally within the files, as in the case of WordPress, for example.

This way, you don’t need to move files and there’s also no need to delete the already created domain; it needs to continue existing to keep the files in htdocs intact…

Parked domains are only available for custom domains, not subdomains.

If you were thinking of buying your own domain, then this might be a good time to get one. But it does involve a monetary cost, so that’s not for everyone.

I don’t think you can add free sub domains as parked domains can you?

This topic has been getting a lot of attention, which is understandable given the large number of affected websites.

I would like to remind everyone about this part from the original message:

To keep the topic clean, please refrain from posting unless you have something useful to add.

Some examples of messages that are not useful:

  • “I’m affected too.” We know, it says so right in the announcement.
  • “Please fix this quickly.” We’re trying.
  • “When will this be fixed.” We don’t know. When that changes, we’ll post it here.
  • “Why is this happening.” Read the first messages.

Any messages that are not helpful will be flagged and deleted to help keep things clean. Thank you for your understanding.

Can someone help me?
My website was affected too because it uses the ct.ws domain, but I can’t export files from the file manager. I really need to access the contents because it’s a school project and I need to show it next week.:sob:

You can backup your site without the file manager using FTP.

Thanks so much, I was able to back up the website with FileZilla!
