Recovering a suspended domain?

When an account is suspended, any domains that were in use on it remain locked to the account.

Eventually, suspended accounts are deleted. When that happens, all domains assigned to them are released, which means they can be assigned to another account.

This also means that other people can claim the same domain. If that happened, then they are the legitimate user of that domain at that point.

If you had a domain name before and would like to use it again, the first thing you should do is try to assign it to an account again. With some luck, it’s available, and you can just start using it.
