Rebuild DNS

I need help with DNS for my domain: unitedweldfab.gt.tc

In my control panel DNS records, I have one IP:

However, authoritative DNS and public resolvers are returning another

Verification commands and results:

  1. Authoritative server checks:
    nslookup unitedweldfab.gt.tc ns2.gt.tc
Result: not the on on the account

nslookup www.unitedweldfab.gt.tc ns2.gt.tc
Result: not the on on the account

  1. Public resolver checks:
    nslookup unitedweldfab.gt.tc 8.8.8.8
Result: not the on on the account

nslookup www.unitedweldfab.gt.tc 1.1.1.1
Result: not the on on the account

Because of this, my domain is serving content from an old host/path and not the files in my current account document root.

Please let me know how I can:

  1. Confirm which DNS zone is authoritative for unitedweldfab.gt.tc
  2. Publish/sync the A records so both apex and www point to the correct IP
  3. Confirm whether there is any hidden/overriding record or account-level mapping forcing the other IP

Thank you.

Your site is on a free subdomain of gt.tc, which is controlled by InfinityFree.

You can’t set a free subdomain to an A record, and the client area and control panel give you no option to. I’m not sure what you see, but it isn’t A record settings.

That’s considered a sub-subdomain which aren’t supported anymore, though older accounts that had one had them grandfathered in. Visiting the www sub-subdomain of your site redirects me to your site.

Could you please be more specific about what your site looks like on your end compared to what it should look like? This is what it looks like when I visit it:

The problem could be browser cache, but I can guarantee you that DNS settings have nothing to do with it.

To make the interface easier to understand Admin put dummy entries on the DNS interface in Client Area that contains “A records”.

The base domain unitedweldfab.gt.tc is pointing to a premium hosting IP address.
