A few quick questions before I flip the switch to Premium: 1. What Python version is available? 2. Do I get my own `venv`? 3. Does it include `pip install ...` (for installing libraries, e.g. `numpy`)? 4. Can PHP run Python and how (`exec`, `shell_exec`, `proc_open`)? 5. Can Python write in `/tmp` or a similarly ephemeral file system location? Thanks ---

Further [Premium Hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/) inquiries should be sent to [iFastNet](https://www.infinityfree.com/go/ifastnet) directly (at `support[dot]ifastnet[dot]com`) instead of this forum. For your question, Python on [Premium Hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/) is pretty much complimentary instead of being actually useful. You don’t get long running Python processes but rather Python files are executed through Passenger in a way similar to PHP files. ---

I had a quick check on what’s actually available on [premium hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/). I’ve never actually used that functionality myself, and remember that [premium hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/) is provided by [iFastNet](https://www.infinityfree.com/go/ifastnet), not InfinityFree. You don’t get SSH access on [Premium Hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/) plans (only Business Hosting), so running the commands directly is not possible. Yes, shell funtions are disabled by default for security, but you can enable them and use that to trigger commands, including Python commands. > [@Alonbr](#): > > 1.
