### Website URL [http://tech-design123.42web.io/](http://tech-design123.42web.io/) ### Error Message - Setup failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection timed out ### Other Information hi infinityfree, i am a website with infinityfree and using [filess.io](http://filess.io) MariaDB but problem is that it connect to each other and gives this error " \* Setup failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection timed out"" . i already database owner he told infinityfree is blocking connections to my database. i dont know what is wrong. please help me to fix the problem. ---

Out going conncetions to remote MySQL servers is allow **only** on the standard 3306 port. If [filess.io](http://filess.io) gives you another port, than it won’t work. Just why not use the database servers we have provided? ---

What port does [filess.io](http://filess.io) requires you to use? ---

they give me 61000 port when i create database. and they said your database is ok and working fine. You have to tell infinintyfree to allow connection to our database to connect. ---

Then it won’t work. And no, you cannot “fix” this issue, because this block is delibrate. You must use our own database servers then, or ask them to see whether you can have your database server listening on port 3306. ---

Use the free databases that InfinityFree provides you? If they won’t change the port (they probably can’t anyways without messing with a lot of users stuff), you can’t use their services with your free account here. ---

As I just told you, you cannot connect to our database servers from outside of our hosting. If that’s what you’re trying to do then no, there’s no “fix” for something that’s not an issue but a design. ---

Let me told you one last time: - If you are trying to connect to other database servers from our hosting, then it’s OK, but you can only use the standard 3306 port. Non-standard ports are blocked, and there’s no solution. - If you are trying to connect from other places to database servers here, then it won’t work. There’s also no solution, unless you’re willing to opt for [premium hosting](https://www.infinityfree.com/premium/). ---
