net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID(please share the FULL error message you see, if applicable)
Other Information
Site has been up 6 days; should have fully propagated by now. Error shows sometimes, but not other times, very sporadic.
Your website is protected with an SSL certificate from ZeroSSL, a large and well known SSL provider (albeit a somewhat new one), along with a full CA chain for maximum browser compatibility.
If you get a “certificate authority invalid” message, that suggests to me that either:
There is something wrong with the SSL setup of your device, like an outdated CA chain.
Something is trying to hack your SSL connection and trying to trick you into connecting using their invalid SSL certificate so they can spy on the transmission.
Judging by the screenshot, you seem to be using Windows 7. Windows 7 lost support 6 years ago by now, so both having problems with modern security standards and being at high risk of malware are both pretty likely scenarios.
To be honest, my best recommendation would be to switch to an up to date operating system. Your device probably doesn’t support Windows 11, but Windows 10 would be a good upgrade already. And Linux is always a good option to breathe new life into old devices.
I’m sorry to hear that InfinityFree didn’t meet your needs. But calling the service here “trash” is a bit rude. End of the day, we tried to help you, and given that your site was working for others, it would suggest that the problem wasn’t with InfinityFree.
Hopefully you’re happy with AwardSpace. I tried them, and I found their free plans support to be lacking, and the 1gb disk space limiting. But your milage may vary.
